I decided to go to the western-most tip of Nepal, bordering India, a small place called "DHANGADHI".Dhangadhi is a town in Western Nepalgunj on the border to India. It is the capital of Kailai district in the province of Seti. With a population of about 80,000, it is the largest city in the far -west region of Nepal. The city is good connected with other major cities of Nepal and Indian cities, like Bareilly of Uttar Pradesh.

On 25.01.2009, I boarded the local airways, "Yeti Airlines". The service can at best be described as Air-Taxi. The plane has a capacity of around 30 peoples to sit.

Since I was sitting on the right side of the plane and the plane was flying westwards, I had a fascinating view of the Northern Nepal. In the north, lies the entire Himalayas.
Since, I did not had the ticket for Dhangadhi, as the direct flight for Kathmandu-Dhangadhi flight was cancelled due to bad weather, I had to board a flight from Kathmandu-Nepalgunj, from where I travelled by road to Dhangadhi. I reached Nepalgunj at around 4 P.M.

On this Highway, lies a very famous wild life reserve, called "Bardiya Wild Life Reserve", which is protected by heavily guarded policemen.

On return on the next day, we had a brief halt at "Ghora-Ghori Taal", which is a water-body spread across 2562 hectares of land. Here, you can find large variety of wild life species, specially Birds.
The Highway is heavily guarded by police, because of danger of poaching. People still take chance to kill stray wild life, specially deers. I was lucky enough to spot some deers right on the Highway.

(This is also a picnic spot and people come here in Tractors and what-have-yous)
